Communication Cabling Standards & Practices

Day 1:
This course covers the details of structured cabling systems, National electrical code requirements that apply to the communications industry, and standards compliant cabling installations. The course follows EIA/TIA standard 570 for residential and light commercial cabling systems and TIA standard 568A for commercial cabling installations. The course is presented in a classroom format wiht resource material provided to all participants.

Day 2:
This course covers the details of various low voltage cabling systems. Course content includes cable types and applications, connecting hardware, testing and troubleshooting. The course is presented in a classroom format of instructor presentation and demonstrations with resource material provided to participants.

All students must sign-in for classes. Times:

Sign-in begins 1 hour before classes begin.

Refund & Cancellation Policy:

Refunds or transfers to other NEC Seminars will not be made unless requested in writing at least 7 days in advance of the class. All refunds and transfers are subject to a $30.00 administrative fee.
